Craft Cafe: Redux

This one is GREAT for fall mornings and lazy weekends as it is located steps away from the Quayside Boardwalk. They have some delicious food to go along with their well-crafted coffees. This place makes a wonderful lobster grilled cheese and if you are staying in, they have a quite solid scotch collection!

They carry an impressive selection of specialty beans from The Barn, Modus, Ghost Roaster, and more! Made with a badass La Marzocco, you will not be disappointed in the quality of espresso at Craft. If espresso drinks aren’t your jam, their pour-over game is just as strong! Meticulous enough for coffee nerds to enjoy, they carefully weigh, pour, time, and single cups of pour-over from any of their specialty beans and roasts on offer. I’m a big fan of anything from Ghost Roaster, a local New Westminster small batch coffee roaster.

The food here always keeps us coming back! Not too pricey and always fresh and delicious. It’s an easy lunch option for anyone strolling the Quay or working downtown. On of our favourits is their french toast grilled cheese breakfast sandos. Cheese and maple bacon smashed in between 2 perfect french toasts. If you’re into something lighter and healthy, they have lots of options for that as well!

To top it off, they have a nice selection of scotch and whiskeys on offer! Just recently we saw that they are expanding to include a cocktail service in the expanded seating area. We are looking forward to trying their craft beverage selection soon and maybe including them in our New West Pub Bingo next year.
