There’s a new buzz in town that’s about to light up New Westminster’s “Golden Mile”. The team behind the much-loved Heritage Grill is working to bring the magic to The Columbia Theatre with a monthly series of shows.
If you ever experienced the energy of The Heritage Grill, you’ll likely remember its warm, soulful vibe. It was a place where live music, local talent, and community spirit merged to create some amazing nights and friendships formed. Though the Heritage Grill is no more, Paul Minhas, the owner of the Heritage Grill; Richard Chapman, its former booking manager (also of Northern Electric Records); and Hall of Fame musician Clayton Hill from the iconic Vancouver band Trooper.
Their new venture is sure to bring resurgence to one of New Westminster’s most cherished landmarks, The Columbia Theatre (currently the home of Rick Bronson’s House of Comedy). If you’ve never stepped inside, The Columbia Theatre is a rare gem—an atmospheric-style venue with stunning architecture that sets the perfect stage for a night out.
These monthly shows will feature a lineup of incredible talent, blending nostalgia with fresh energy, and offering a chance for the community to gather, dance, and make memories. Whether you’re a longtime fan of the Heritage Grill or a newcomer looking for something exciting to do, this series is your ticket to good vibes and great music.
