November New Business Spotlight

There are a few new faces in the way of restaurants and businesses in New West in the past few months! While it’s sad to see businesses close, it’s great to have new flavours and services pop up for residents to enjoy.

Kioku Kitchen

Kioku Kitchen has recently opened its doors to New West and has been garnering a lot of positive attention! Although we were sad to see AKD Kitchen go, this new restaurant is looks promising! A mix of Korean and Japanese fusion dishes is sure to delight adventurous taste buds and is conveniently located at New West SkyTrain Station. If you go, get the Kioku Sampler to give you a full spectrum experience of their food!

Big Way Hot Pot

Making a big splash is Big Way Hot Pot at New West station. Unlike an AYCE hotpot style experience, it’s more of a Build-Your-Own individual bowl. Although wait times can be a bit long, the flavours are sure to please. With a large space and lots of tables, we’re hoping the service can be expedited to be more efficient. However, if you go to ANY hot pot restaurant, there is usually a wait due to the nature of a lengthy dining experience. Don’t be discouraged, check this place out and you wont be disappointed.
